Virtual Launch of STEM4ALL Platform

UNDP and UNICEF regional offices in Europe and Central Asia organise a virtual launch of STEM4ALL platform for gender equality in STEM on 23 August from 14.00 – 15.15 Istanbul time (13.00 to 14.15 CET).

UNDP and UNICEF have co-created the regional platform with women, girls, educators, STEM leaders and diverse stakeholders committed to increasing resources, networks and opportunities for women and girls in STEM.

The goal is to achieve gender equality in STEM by increasing women’s and girls’ access to STEM and digital skills for education and employment.

STEM4ALL serves as a platform to spread awareness among stakeholders and decision-makers with tools and resources, spark dialogue with advocacy campaigns and joint activities, generate needs-based action plans and inform policy design for gender equality in STEM.

The organisers have secured a line-up of inspiring speakers who will address challenges, solutions and opportunities shaping STEM and digitalization for an equal future.
