Academia Businesses Cooperation Success Story

The Regional Cooperation Council is thrilled to announce that one of teams backed by the Technology Transfer Support Programme has made significant advances. 

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies - Skopje conducted the IoT SOLTRACK experiment at the Innovation Centre in Nis, backed by Alfaklima company. The project is funded by SMART4ALL H2020. 

The result is an IoT-based solar tracking system fully integrated with a mobile photovoltaic generator at the Innovation Centre.

This foldable, mobile and autonomous photovoltaic generator is primarily designed for the agricultural sector. However, it can be used in non-electrified rural areas or for emergency scenarios as a mobile electricity supply.
