Regional Innovation Valleys Call to Open Soon

Regional Innovation Valleys Call under the European Innovation Ecosystems Work Programme of Horizon Europe will open on 17 May 2023!

On Friday 31st March, the European Commission has adopted an amendment to the main Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024.

It allocated additional €60 million for the call for "Implementing co-funded action plans for connected regional innovation valleys". Its goal is to support the creation of regional innovation valleys (RIVs) in Europ.

The call will open 17 May 2023 and will close on 17 October 2023.

Within this 5-month applications' period, potential applicants will have substantial time to identify those partners with whom they converge towards same technological objectives and could develop joint strategically oriented long-term programmes of activities (action plans).

This is a flagship initiative under the New European Innovation Agenda. Its goal is to develop efficient, open, inclusive and interconnected European innovation ecosystems.
