STEM4ALL Mentors

A virtual event for STEM4ALL mentors will be organised by UNDP-UNICEF. It aims at providing young women and girls with insights into the world of jobs in the ICT (information communications technology) sector.

STEM4ALL is a joint platform by UNDP and UNICEF in Europe and Central Asia dedicated to accelerating gender equality and the representation of women and girls in STEM to meet the demands of the future of work in this region.

The STEM4ALL Mentors should be ideally experienced ICT professionals who can act as mentors for attendees, sharing their experiences and insights into the field.

If you are an ICT professional with experience facilitating discussions and mentoring young women and girls ages 15-20, please consider serving as a mentor during the event.

The event will be held virtually, and your commitment would involve leading a 30-minute breakout session with a small group of participants.

During this session, you can share your experiences and offer advice and support to attendees on addressing gender barriers and stereotypes that face women and girls in ICT as well as tips on how to pursue careers in ICT.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 27th at 15.00 – 16.30 CET.

If you are interested in participating, please let us know by this Friday, April 7th with a written statement on what information you are able to share with the participants.

Feel free to write directly to tiffany.sprague@undp.org.

STEM4ALL closely cooperates with the regional Network of Women in STEM in the Western Balkans.
