EVO Electric Car from Bosnia and Herzegovina
GS TMT company is behind a newly unveiled EVO electric car, following massively successful launch of Ruffian electric bicycle five years ago.
As the world shifts towards more sustainable modes of transportation, companies are stepping up to meet the demand for electric vehicles and bicycles.
One such company is GS TMT, based in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina that designed the EVO electric car and the Ruffian electric bicycle.
The company fully designs and builds these vehicles, showcasing their commitment to innovation and sustainability.
EVO electric vehicle
The EVO prototype is a light delivery vehicle with a solar power panel on its roof.
It has a capacity to carry a load of up to 300 kilograms and can cover about 100 kilometres on one charge.
The GS TMT's German partner introduced the idea for the development of an electric delivery vehicle for Deutsche Telekom.
However, the original carrier withdrew from the project, leaving everything in the hands of GS-TMT from Travnik.
The young engineers at GS-TMT saw the potential of the project and decided to stay on. The project team spent two years developing the model and develop the first electric delivery vehicle in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The company hopes to receive permission for serial production of EVO within this year. It is expected that the production and market placement will begin in 2024.
Ruffian electric bicycle Cristiano Ronaldo likes
In addition to this, GS TMT has also released their first electric bicycle, named Ruffian, to the market.
The company has been constructing steel bicycle frames as part of its production for almost ten years. In recent years it has focused on creating this new product.
Bosch's system of engine and battery powers Ruffian, a blend of luxury Chopper retro style, making it a unique and attractive option.
Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly purchased two copies of GS-TMT's Ruffian electric bicycle. This serves as a testament to the quality and appeal of the unique e-bike.
E-future in the Western Balkans
Both of these vehicles represent a step forward in the shift towards more sustainable transportation options.
Similar electric vehicles are sure to be in great demand in the future.
The company's goal is continue designing competitive products for the European market. This will expand their business opportunities and boost the local economy.
Equally important, GS TMT hopes to create an environment for young talents to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina and prevent brain drain.
