Call for Innovators: EIC Accelerator Funding Opportunity

The European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator is offering a unique funding opportunity to support high-impact innovations that can scale globally. This programme is designed for visionary entrepreneurs ready to take their innovations to the next level.
The EIC Accelerator provides grant funding of up to €2.5 million and equity investments of up to €15 million to support the development and scaling of high-risk, high-potential innovations. The programme is open to start-ups and SMEs from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, focusing on deep-tech innovations that have the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones.
The EIC Accelerator offers:
- Blended Finance: A combination of grant funding and equity investment to support your innovation journey.
- Business Acceleration Services: Access to a network of mentors, investors, and corporate partners to help you scale your business.
- Market Deployment Support: Assistance in bringing your innovation to market and scaling it globally.
Who Can Apply?
The EIC Accelerator is looking for innovative start-ups and SMEs that:
- Are developing deep-tech innovations with a strong potential for market impact.
- Have a clear business plan and a scalable business model.
- Are ready to attract follow-on investment and scale their operations.
How to Apply?
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, with cut-off dates for evaluation. The application process is divided into two stages:
- Short Application: Submit a brief proposal outlining your innovation and business plan. Short applications are accepted at any time (continuous).
- Full Application: If shortlisted, you will be invited to submit a detailed application and pitch your idea to a panel of experts. Full applications: 12 March 2025 and 1 October 2025.
