Western Balkans Mobility Scheme - Call for Applications
The Western Balkans Mobility Scheme has been launched within the POLICY ANSWERS Pilot Programme. It aims to enhance regional cooperation and sustained support in mobility-driven research & innovation (R&I) in the Western Balkans.
Only mobility projects in the field of research will be funded. Mobility must involve the physical presence of an early-career researcher (financial support recipient) at a research infrastructure (RI) in the Western Balkans. A selected researcher must conduct research.
A project duration will range between two weeks and six months. During a project, several visits to the same RI are eligible, but not to different RIs.
This scheme is open only to early-career researchers (PhD students and Postdocs) whose doctorate was awarded no longer than seven years before the deadline of this call. Early-career researchers must be affiliated with a home institution in the region.
All thematic research areas are eligible including Social Sciences and Humanities, and arts-based research. Applications that address the twin transition (green and digital) of the WB and priorities mentioned in research strategies of the WB economies (respective Smart Specialisation Strategies/S3) are particularly welcome.
The deadline for submission of applications is 31 May 2024, 17:00 CEST.
Before you start the application process, please consult the POLICY ANSWERS website https://www.westernbalkans-infohub.eu/calls/western-balkans-mobility-scheme/ or the Joint Call Secretariat at DLR-PT (calls-europe@dlr.de).
