Star Venture Programme Call
The EBRD has announced an open call for Star Venture programme to identify high potential, innovative start-ups ready for lift off.
This is the forth call for application of high-potential, innovative, growth-oriented start-ups based in the Western Balkans. Startups should be able to demonstrate their traction, the potential to scale rapidly and to attract finance.
Star Venture provides startups with business advice and access to finance to strengthen their performance and accelerate their life cycle.
About Star Venture programme?
The Star Venture Programme was launched in the Western Balkans in 2019.
Apart from the Western Balkans region, the programme operates in Turkey, Bulgaria, Moldova and Romania the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean.
The Star Venture programme aims to identify high-potential startups and to mobilise globally sourced expertise to help them scale up rapidly.
The programme offers technical expertise, mentorship, local advice and strategic business development expertise to startups.
Star Venture assigns these startups advisory projects tailored to their specific competencies and needs.
The EBRD's consulting services cover strategy, business planning, finance, operations, organisation, marketing and sales among others.
How to apply?
The programme looks for registered private enterprises that fulfil the following criteria:
- A proven innovative technology-based solution or innovative business model,
- Managed to substantially increase revenues within 3 years of business operations,
- A significant market opportunity,
- A strong competitive advantage.

The application deadline is June 25, 2022.
